It's pumpkin season and we are here for it! Bust out the flannel, oversized scarves, wide brim hats, torn jeans, and... True Scoops! We've been in the kitchen coming up with fun, tasty recipes for the fall and holiday season using True Scoops mixes. Sure, it's easy enough to whip up a sundae, but these mixes are so versatile. It's time to think outside the pouch!

To make your life just a pinch easier, we opted to use a box pumpkin bread mix from Trader Joe's. It's moist, full of flavor, and only required a couple ingredients to put together. Let them do all the hard work, ok? You just focus on taking credit.

Pumpkin Bread & Salted Butterscotch Frosting

You'll Need:
  • 1 Loaf Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread, Prepared Per Instructions
  • 1 Cup Prepared True Scoops Salted Butterscotch Sauce
  • 1/2 Stick Salted Butter
  • 1/2 Brick Full Fat Cream Cheese
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • Instructions:
    Cook pumpkin bread according to the package instructions. Let cool completely.
    Cook True Scoops Salted Butterscotch Sauce according to the package instructions. Let cool completely.
    In a stand up mixer with whisk attachment, whip butter, cream cheese, and salt until light and fluffy.
    Add powdered sugar and all but 2 Tbsp of Salted Butterscotch Sauce to the frosting and whip until combined.
    Spread frosting over the pumpkin bread loaf then drizzle remaining salted butterscotch sauce on top. Slice and serve.
